Do you know an amazing Running Springs teacher, staff member, parent, or community member who exemplifies volunteerism? Here is your chance to thank them in a very powerful way. Nominate them for an Honorary Service Award!

The HSA's are designed as a unique way for PTA units, councils, and districts to publicly acknowledge both individuals and organizations for outstanding community service to children and youth in a community.

Very Special Person Award: Given to an individual that has made a significant impact on the community.

Continuing Service Award: Given to a person whose contribution has been significant over a continuing period of time.

Honorary Service Award: Given to an individual or organization in the PTA, school, or community in special recognition of outstanding service to children and youth.

Golden Oak Service Award: Given to recognize exceptional service to children and youth; it is the California State PTA's most prestigious award.
Outstanding Teacher Award: Given to a teacher in the school in special recognition of outstanding service to children and youth.

Outstanding Administrator Award: Given to an administrator in the school in special recognition of outstanding service to children and youth.

To nominate someone please use the online form. Nominations will be accepted through April 10, 2026. The process is kept confidential, and all nominations are considered by the Honorary Service Awards Committee.
